SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II in Solar with the ability to interact with various staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with high professionalism and confidentiality.  The candidate will be able to train and communicate effectively with other team members.  Preferred MN-based candidates but will consider remote applicants.  If remote, they must have a minimum of two years' experience in Scheduling experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support supervision through the preparation, monitoring, and updating of area schedules; and assisting site management in formulating action plans to correct scheduling problems


• Draft and computerize schedule network diagrams, monitoring and eliminating potential problems

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Minimum two years of construction scheduling experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience (for Scheduler II position)


• Experience as a Project Engineer is preferred


• Must be proficient in P6


• Construction operations experience is strongly preferred


• Thorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles, and practices


• Proven ability, creativity, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems essential


• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions


• Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion


• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
